What Is a Hidden Pivot?

When a stock's price fluctuates, it reflects the ongoing balance between supply and demand, likened to the natural flow of yin and yang. Stock movements resemble an "inhale" and "exhale" pattern, with each rise (zig) having a corresponding fall (zag).

Hidden pivots lie at key turning points within stock movements, helping determine price changes with precision, and they are “hidden” because they cannot be detected using such conventional technical tools as trendlines, support and resistance lines, Fibonacci levels, Gann angles, momentum oscillators or stochastic indicators. While Elliott Wave Analysis can offer similar insights, the hidden pivot method is simpler and more straightforward for traders to use.
